Mia's world is abruptly turned upside down when she finds herself in the beginnings of a full scale zombie apocalypse. After having to face the heartbreaking task of taking on the ones she loves most, she wanders into a world she no longer recognises. One thing is on her mind; Survive. On her journey she finds old friends and new friends.Together they battle the un-dead towards a place which they only know as 'The Haven', a supposed safe place where the infection doesn't exist. But are the turned the only ones to fear? Or are there more sinister, familiar monsters awaiting them?

Hannah couldn't fathom how she was able to remember something so irrelevant, although when she has over a year of isolation from any other living human being it's startling as to how much detail and information one person can manage to reminisce. She was 15 years old when it began. Now, she was turning 17 and nothing had gotten better. If anything, everything had become harder. Human extinction was inevitable and the probability of surviving wasn't just slightly possible, it was impossible. Especially when she's alone. Her life is turned upside down when her father ends up in hospital with the bad flu and mother exiles her upstairs for her safety. She was never allowed downstairs again. Weeks pass and the streets become deserted with the exception of the red eyed zombies that wandered around. One night she notices a swiftly moving figure with glowing blue eyes in the street below. Should she call out or remain silent?
