Nubia Weinhurst, a social outcast who is generally shunned by society, leaves Sexton, Brinchwood with her family and relocates to the mysterious small town of Wittens, Pennsylvania, following her mother's sudden work promotion ahead of the upcoming holiday. Nubia, who has recently burst out of her cocoon, is hastily accepted and approved of by the community.

One night whilst strolling alone in the woods she is acquainted with a disturbingly mysterious character who she grows to fall in love with, unbeknownst to his secret. There are dark creatures lurking deep in the shadows, that threaten her and her family's existence.

Will all the dark and treacherous secrets and mysteries of Wittens be revealed?
Will the town rewrite it's narrative?
Will they have a festive season or peril at their doom?
