Nick is always alone. It's been like that for years, and he doesn't expect it to change. His own parents didn't even want him, so how could anyone else? As a selective mute, it's even harder for him to be around people. Dealing with bullies, homophobic people and social anxiety, Nick will always be alone. Or maybe, just one person is all he needs.
