A sand coloured dragon sat at the window staring out at the golden horizon. He would be attending Jade Mountain Academy, things would change wether or not Qibli wanted them to. Maybe they would change for a good reason, maybe it won't be so bad, maybe, just maybe..
Winter had never pleased his parents, in fact he was quite the disappointment. The plan was, to send him away to school, where he wouldn't be embarrassing his family. Winter definitely did not want to go, Icewings are the most superior of all the tribes, plus he was royalty, he should get a choice! Why should he have to share the same air as the other tribes!?
Two opposites, two different tribes, and most definitely, solemates.

Alrighty then, this is a Winterwatcher story for all of the souls who got crushed at the end of book 10 in Wings of Fire, including mine. Moon is starting to have second thoughts about if choosing Qibli was really the best choice after all. Jade mountain academy has stood for many years and had grown larger over time. It now had the ability to accept up to 161 dragonets. Thats 23 dragonets from each tribe. Cattail the Mudwing is perfectly happy in her family of 7. So when soldiers unexpectedly show up with orders from the queen to attend Jade Mountain Academy she isn't happy. Her biggest problem is trying to survive the academy. She was never really very book smart. But as secrets are revealed Cattail finds that danger is lurking just beneath the surface and will have to rely on some unexpected friends to save her sibs and possible all of Jade Mountain Academy Wings of Fire, Jade Mountain Academy, and the Dragonets of Destiny belong to Tui T. Sutherland. All non-book published characters were created by me. I am very sorry if some have other peoples dragons names. I Just want to give a special mention to Seamud for their character creator book that created Cattail because i seriously suck at Mudwing names. The names in the book are really good. So my first chapter with Cattail i feel i should deticate to Seamud. I created the cover on PicMonkey but the artwork isn't mine. This is my second WoF Fanfiction so lets see how it goes.
