In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. The Roommate Situation
karli has recently been accepted to a school that she has always wanted to go and someday to become an author. She feels for the first time she is free and can finally leave behind the hell she was forced to call her home and life in general for the first eighteen years of her life. First Semester is about to start and before anything, she has to not just find a job but also needs to find a place to live.
