Under The Lights

It all began in Paris, France, 1997. Sparkling rain drops fell from the dark sky and the chalky sidewalk collected puddles of the small water droplets in a ping pang rhythm. The city was beautiful, lights bursting from every street corner and window. The tower reached up, touching the clouds and my eyes tried to count every single step there will ever be on the Eiffel.

A gust of wind snatched my umbrella from my slippery gloved hands and a man caught it before it flew away into the darkness...

Sammy Kate lived in her great mother's shadow. Anyone who had a world's bestselling author as a mother, would have to also. Yet, people would still kill to live in the huge mansion, travel from place to place, attend the most exclusive private school in the country, and meet anyone who was anyone.
