''TYLER! RUN!'

I shot up and opened my eyes. My heart pace slowed down a little, but it was still difficult to breath. I winced in pain then looked down, there was a long burn mark down my forearm. I looked in front of me, at the burning building falling before my eyes.

''TYLER! RUN!'' I couldn't see straight because of all the smoke but I made out someone running from the building tward me. Lee.

''Lee!'' I called out to him, his pace picked up, I think, as I stood up from the dirt-coverd ground.

''TYLER! I-'' he was cut off by part of the building toppling over onto him, causing me to watch my own brother, burn to death.

After watching her brothers death, Tyler 'Melody' Jones world turns upside down. Her parents have turned against her, her best friend is the only one left she can really trust to help her, besides for Lees bestfriend ,Xavier (who is pverprotective of what is NOT his). And to throw more things into the mix, she had just graduated high school. All the drama in her life causes her to go become a diffrent person to try and keep herself from thinking about her brother. But between the partys and countless nights at her bestfriends house, she runs into Drake, a kid who will speak up when needed and only wants to help. Can Tyler stop herself from falling to deep and making mistakes, or will Drake take full controll of her?
