Seeing her again, the only person in the entire world who could resist his mind reading, brought back his old memories. The ones he lost after the last time he saw her when the great house of Lance so hateful and loyal to the devil himself erased his memories of her.
When Maverick lost those memories his world began to spin and shake, it never stopped spinning, but he saw those seducing emerald eyes and the darkest red lips and his world became clear, "Adira Lance" a grin came to his face, "You're still wearing that ring I gave you years ago" he teased her, even though he should've been the one embarrassed with his prurient thoughts.
Though it was rare to ever see a Clozran blush it was even more rare to see Adira Lance blush at the sound of anyone's voice. The great devil princess had finally cracked.
