You think being a teenager is hard? Try being 16 year old Tess. She has a mom that is out of her mind, a brother that she wants to throw off the Brooklyn Bridge, and then a father who is unspeakable. Her only escape is creative writing class with the her handsome teacher Mr. Stevens. But she never saw him that way but the rest of the boy crazy girls in her class did. So when her world turns upside down she turns to her writing assignment as an escape. She uses the assignment to explain what's happening in her life without using her name. Mr. Stevens becomes worried about her. Typical concerned Mr. Stevens. When he tries to help her and take her away from her broken home by force of the law things just might work. But when the assignment she has been putting her life into accidently falls into the wrong hands what happens when Mr. Stevens is accidently accused of abuse her psycho mother poses as mentally stable parent and her unspeakable father returns?
