Завершенная история, впервые опубликовано нояб. 20, 2020
I wrote this short story a few years ago in a creative writing class. It is based on a poem I had published by the same name and uses an adjusted version of the poem as a song.

Watching the sun set in the late afternoon, Linda Avery socializes with her animal friends and reminisces about a moment in time long since past.

*Warning; this story does deal with a character's passing if you are not comfortable with that content.*

"Tell me the story about how the sun loved the moon so much, he died every night to let her breathe:" Adhira Addison was always infatuated with outer space. I mean her name means moon. She is a misunderstood seventeen year old girl, who lives with her single dad. Apollo Coleman has always been looking for someone he could talk to. He's a nineteen year old boy who has suffered depression and anxiety as a kid. So when Adhira gets embarrassed in front of the whole school for being a nerd, Apollo out of all people falls for the girl who loves the thought of the sun dying for the moon. How could you believe out of everyone they've ever met, they found each other? It's fate..... Plot twist Apollo might not be who she thought he was.....
