I was given a monologue for a production of a play (that will remain unnamed) talking about COVID-19 and mine is titled "Annie's Dad" so as a way to build a connection to the monologue, I decided to write a short story about Annie. Warning, Covid is mentioned, so if you are uncomfortable with me talking about it, please do not read this. I really hope you enjoy it.
