They say, "Be careful what you wish for." They say, "There's truth to every story." They say, "Karma's a B***h." A heart's wish is a powerful thing. But magic doesn't exist. Or so I thought. Now, a troll has found me. ************* Cara I can't... It hurts... Why? Am I not good enough? Not pretty enough? What did I do to be betrayed like this? I feel numb except for the gaping hole in my chest. The darkness starts creeping in. I wish... Heavens how I wish... Friday June 13th I don't know when, how, or why I ended up where I am, but here I am. As insane as it sounds, I am no longer on earth. I think. Maybe I'm dead. Or maybe I'm in a coma! One where I can feel a hell of a lot of pain and new scents are being created? Maybe, just maybe, I should have listened to Grandmother's crazy stories of magic in our blood and being careful what we wish for. They don't sound so crazy anymore. All I know is I'm on the ground, can't move, staring up at an impossibly blue sky through broken branches of trees I've never seen before. That's saying a lot. Botany is my favorite hobby. I think I have internal bleeding from falling through the three-story tall trees like a pinball. My only regrets are knowing my Mum will be in a panic, won't quit searching, and my sweet American Pit Bull Terrier, Nimuë, fell through with me. ************* Tavirian Our laws are clear. If we find any creature wounded past the point of healing, we kill them. It's a mercy. We've gotten a reputation for being ruthless and cannibalistic because of it. Hundreds of years ago, perhaps, but not anymore. I'm still a monster. I'm on my ancestral pilgrimage to present the spirits with my potential brides. I'm not thrilled with my options. My mate is out there, but the elders are pushing me to take one of our Tribe. When we come across a nearly dead, tiny human and her creature, I can't kill them. Especially now. I can use the pilgrimage to save them for now, but I'll need help.

Melinda goes to a school in a far far away place, to a school of magic but everyone else there is as normal as normal. They learn what school kids do. The usual algebra and chemistry but they are trained with powers. The school do not teach them how to control their powers, they teach themselves. Like every school, there is always the popular and the unpopular. In her school, there is two really sexy prefect, 2 pop stars, 2 princesses, famous actors, cool cheerleaders, geeks, and of course, herself. Everyone in her class was special in a way, even the geeks. There was no average kids, only her. To make things worse, the smart students have been chosen. They were chosen to train and protect their world, Xigix. Xigix calls them CPs which stands for Coolest People since they all think they are so cool. She does not have any hate towards them but the chosen people from her class out of the 6 chosen CPs were the 2 popstars and the 2 princesses, not her. Melinda was upset, the only cool thing was that she dated one of the popstars but they decided to be friends after all. She did not mind that but she does realise that she is the big outcast of the class but on her 18 birthday, she realises something really special. She happens to be the Nyphm of the Ocean. She really is one of the 6 Nypmhs of Xigix together with her not-so-cool classmates, Laurel and Jessilyn, Nymph of Elements and Nymph of the Soul. The other nymphs turn out quite stunning too. Together they are a team but will Melinda's classmate ever see who she really is and will she get accepted as someone special to them? Will she still be considered an outcast to her class? Above Star class? --- Inspiration from Winx Club! The princesses and popstars part were made by @ShinyYeo , for more information on the popstars...check my other story "Braving The Past" but has nothing to do with this one. The cover is made by @qu33en_of_m3 This story is my idea and I appreciate if you do not re-post it! Thanks:)
Cassiopea's School for the Gifted by artsykid04
12 parts Complete
In a world where magical creatures and humans intermix, there are two types of magic and two types of people. Dark magic and light magic. Good people and evil people. Our main character is going to learn that your powers do not define who you are as a person. Arion Griffin lives in a society where people with light magic are 'good' and people with dark magic are 'bad'. He comes from a long line of dark magic. Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. He makes friends and learns that just because he has dark magic, doesn't mean he is evil. *Idk if this is actually a good story but I had a lot of fun writing it! :) *This story has been edited

Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)

"So who the heck am I?" I stared defiantly at Freya. "I am a normal person. I go to high school. I have parents. What am I ?" I asked. "That is what we need to find out. Do you trust us enough to stay with us? Help us? You are powerful. You are the only Palenthian, first time in centuries who has magic inside her. Powerful magic. More powerful than most Valen. I can feel it. Stay with us and help us slay monsters. Please." I gulped. "What will I get for that?" "Answers." Renna Evans was just another normal girl in another normal world, living with her normal (and filthy rich) parents and going to a normal high school. Basically her life was as normal as could be. Until she went on a normal walk on a hill side. Little did Renna know that from that point, her life would be anything but normal. Welcome to the world of Renna Evans; a world which is divided into two parts. Those who call themselves The Valenthians, possessing power and magic; and those without it are the Palenthians. What is Renna, really? Will she be able to do what is called upon her? Will she be able to place the pieces of the puzzle which will give her the perfect (or heart-shattering) picture of her past? Will she be able to prove her worth in this new world? Or will her world collapse? And what about the handsome but mysterious Ryan Carter? What exactly is he hiding? Renna will discover a world of peace and war, love and hatred, trust and betrayal; all in her single quest for one thing. FREEDOM.
