At 20 years old Alice doesn't have much going for her, she lives in a small apartment and works at the orphanage where she was raised. The most interesting part of her life is that she doesn't know anything about her past or biological family.
But one day, on the way to work Alice accidentally stumbles upon a girl who can transform into a white bunny. Letting curiosity get the best of her, she follows the girl into a rabbit hole. After all, curiosity isn't always a bad thing.

A/N: Hi! This is my spin on Alice in Wonderland. I tried to make it more diverse in sexuality, gender and race. I also changed most of the lore. The only thing that really remains the same is Alice's name and that she follows a bunny down a rabbit hole. I hope you enjoy!

Mirai comes from a long line of witches who have been particularly gifted in using their inner sight. As such, she's trained her sight from a young age. She's always been a disappointment, however, as the only thing she's ever been able to see is the vague image of a girl. From her first proper vision, she deduces that unless she finds the girl before the number reaches zero, both of them will die.
