​​A sunflower in a field of roses-that is how Dala always describes herself. She sees herself as plain, a bright but unremarkable bloom surrounded by the elegance of others. Yet, she has always felt fundamentally different, defined by a personal history that sets her apart.

​At twenty-two, she has never attended a party, tasted alcohol, or shared a kiss. She has never known the complications of a boyfriend or even a casual fling; the idea that someone would find her magnetic feels like a foreign concept.

​At work, however, she is a force. As a young newly-hired finance analyst, she recently flew to Singapore and delivered a high-stakes, data-driven pitch that secured one of their company's biggest international clients.

​When the company organizes a post-success celebration, Dala makes a sudden, courageous decision: she is going to step outside her comfort zone, pour a drink, and finally let her guard down.

​But the night descends into chaos when she finds herself in a "one-night stand gone wrong" with a reckless, incredibly attractive carefree young man-who just happens to be the secret son of her own CEO.

​It is, to put it mildly, an absolute train wreck. And Dala is right in the middle of it.
