This is a AU where Naruto is actually 26 but was ordered by the 3rd Hokage to go undercover in the academy for three years to protect the clan heads. What happens when he and kakashi cross paths and they discover the real Naruto Namikaze.
p.s this happens before the chunin exams so Jiriya does not appear. (Plot convenience and you know it :)
