What if North America wasn't discovered until the 22nd? In this story, this happens. North America becomes the world's first international wildlife reserve, and the Native Americans living there don't know other races of people exist. No mustangs because their ancestors were brought by the Spanish, and North America is still almost uninhabited. With no places left wild as big as this, North America is a subject of study via drone footage from an Island off the west coast between Oregon and California. Because wild horses don't live there, the Native Americans have never experienced horses. In a study of human behavior towards an already domesticated breed of equine and the adaptability of the domestic horse, it is decided that a group of 41 young Icelandic horses and foals are dropped off on the point of coast between Oregon and California. Will these young horses from a breed renown for their strength, hardiness, and intelligence be able to survive? Told from the perspective of the horses, this story is set to uncover the truth.
