Hosuh let's out an exhausted sigh, slumping against the stone wall behind him. The battle had taken alot out of him, all he wanted to do right now was curl up and go to sleep.
He's interrupted from his thoughts, however, by a slight gasp. Confusion on his face, he looked up to see Ivu staring straight forward above him at something.
The older male stands up, going to have a look at what she sees.
He freezes.
There's a figure walking through the dust, a figure all to familiar, cuts on his cheeks, blood on his lips, and worn, tired lilac eyes turned red from crying.
"Stephen-!" Hosuh goes to yell, but stops short.
He realises all too late that there's a body cradled in Stephen's arms, hair and face hidden from view by a blanket.
He doesn't need to ask to know whose it is.

They kept on doing it over, over and over again. They were like a blood-curdling spoilt alarm clock signal repeating itself endlessly. There was actually no end. My tired baggy eyes slowly fluttered open. Everywhere was moving in a gradual wobbly pace. I felt dizzy. My head was banging and banging relentlessly like a popcorn machine. Nauseating flashes of familiar faces covered up in grisly blood popped up in my terrified mind. I immediately gagged as a result. My stomach churned as the flashes slowly became more vivid. "Oh, you're awake? That good for you" A deep, yet falsely gentle, voice pierced through my turmoil. "Care for another round?' he said giving me a sinister smirk. "No please. I can't take it anymore! Just kill me please!" I said while wet flow of tears ran through my cheeks. Warning : This book may contain suicidal thoughts, torture scenes, trauma, gore, bloody scenes and lots of deaths.

Technically he should be screaming- any other mortal would when met with a huge being with boar features, royally dressed and adorned with enough weapons to dice a human into a grain of rice. But Tommy wasn't scared, heck he was fighting the urge to throw himself at the Blood God and cling- but he was a big man, and big men didn't hug- "I told you he would be waiting" That's another voice that Tommy recognises, glancing away from the terrifying creature to land his gaze on a man sat lazily on one of the pews. His hair was curlier than Tommy's, darker too contrasting his fluffy yellow jumper and brown trenchcoat. He grins and Tommy can't help but smile back at the God of Music "He couldn't wait to see us, obviously" teases the Blood God and Tommy scoffs "As if- I actually live here nimrods, technically you're visiting me" he retorts and they chuckle "Then maybe we should have knocked?" That's a third voice and Tommy shivers in delight, watching a third man descend from seemingly nowhere, ebony wings gracing his fall as he lands lightly, emerald robes swilling around his feet as he smiles warmly. "I think we should go and see if Natey is done with her books." She whispered and laughed nervously and turned back only to be hold and pulled back to a hard chest. He had purposely swirled her along with him, changing their position. His front was dangerously touching her back. "It's a weak who always run away showing back." He whispered in her ears, his breaths touching her neck. "The being slowly turned his head to look at Altha'ari. That's when it all clicked. The death of his parents, The blood writing, the reappearance of the statue, the meaning of " god of the gods" . This was Anubis, and he was solely responsible for all that had happened to him to this point, and he was here to take Alzira away from him. "sawf yatadafaq alyas mithl fath euruq alsama'!" Anubis roared. " No , Alzira get away!" Altha'ari shouted, but it fell on deaf ears as she could not respond. Altha'ari ran towards Anubis raising his fist to hit the being as hard as he could, but Anubis flung him like a feather into the far wall of the room. Altha'ari looked up at Anubis , who stood there smiling and looking into Alziras eyes. " What do you want bastard! Leave her out of this and take me!" Altha'ari screamed. "'iidha kunt la 'astatie 'an 'aghtanim rwhk , faqm bitaslimiha li bitamziq 'iiradatik lileaysh min qalbik!" Anubis bellowed. He turned and placed his hand on Alzira's face again, then roared as he effortlessly ripped her bottom jaw from her skull , and tossed it at Altha'ari. He released her from her trance and melted into the flooring. Altha'ari screamed hysterically, he had just been tossed around like a doll just to watch the only woman he ever loved be killed barbarically right in front of him, with not a thing he could do about it. He lay there crying with Alzira gargling in her own blood in his lap bleeding profusely all over him. The tendons in her upper jaw moving up and down trying to no avail to close the no longer present lower jaw. He had no one else. He giggled, turning to look at them one last time before he walked out the door. That's when he froze, it felt as if someone was squeezing his heart when he spotted it. He leans his head back and although she can't see him she can feel his breath on her neck. "I need you to promise me something," he whispers. "Anything," she says, her heart pounds in her throat. "I need you to promise that you won't fight them." He says and she wants to scream at him. She wants to hit him and make him understand that she doesn't want to walk out of this hell hole by herself but she can't tell him no. She nods and fights back tears," I promise." He seems to relax against her," thank you." She moves her head just enough that she can feel his temple against her own," can you promise me something?" "Maybe," he says coughing weakly. "I need you to promise that you're gonna fight. You can't just die, okay?" She says and she can feel her tears slipping out from under her blindfold. He moves, maybe it's the blood loss or maybe it's the fact that he can't stand to see her cry, towards her. As much as his aching body will allow, in the end his twist his body tell it hurts, and captures her lips. She taste like tears. "I promise," he whispers against her lips. His eyes were brown, and sad looking. He stood there awkwardly, as he saw my taken aback expression. I shook my head and smiled at him. Phil moved to a new house, but it wasn't an ordinary house. It's where he met Dan, but Dan wasn't the same as anyone else he had ever met before. Dan was a ghost. But Phil wasn't going to let that stop him from making the unhappy ghost Dan happy again, or even his feelings toward him.
