I leaned over my legs watching, waiting for the perfect time as my tears were falling into the water. I took a deep breath, 1, 2, 3, I attached the rope to my leg, 4, 5, 6, I threw the end of the rope and what was attached into the water, 7, 8, 9, I took a long, look into the welcoming, comforting abyss, 10, 11, 12, I jumped. And as I blacked out, I realized, finally... I was home.

I have always loved the water. My family has always been near water. My uncle was a an oceanographer which had me interested in what he does. It was always seeming so mysterious, what lies beneath, what is under. Being a lover of the sea, my family has owned a villa near the beach and I found my self visiting quiet often. Until my uncle had given me a birthday party on a boat owned by my family. That is until that night my life had changed when I accidentally slip into the waters slowly sinking down under. I may just be a girl. No one special. Nothing compared to others. In the eyes of the universe, I am just a little speck of dust. My light may not shine very bright, and it may not be of any use, but I am me. Writing is my only escape out of this world. I cry rivers of ink and climb mountains of words.
