Along the way the group runs into Team Taka, and makes some detours, all the while trying not to drive each other insane with their crazy hijinks, culture clashes, and different ways of looking at the world. Not to mention past trauma. But things may heat up when they actually reach Mist Village and find more than they bargained for. [This story is a sort of spin off of the main story line, and picks up where my shorter retelling of the War Arc and Sasuke Retrieval Arc left off.
