The Haruno Clan were run out of Kiri because they were feared for their kenjutsu, Crystal Release Kekkei Genkai, and passed down memories through meditation. Most of them were killed, but the main family and three branch families left before they were killed. The branches went to the Land of Waves, and the main family was last seen entering the Land of Fire. The only way you can tell if someones a Haruno is the look in their eyes, a stong will comparable to a green flame, and the ability to manipulate their chakra better than the great Tsunade of Konoha.

During the nine tails attack the Fourth Hokage survived and sadly his wife died sealing the fox in their son at the cost of her life. He grew up and is part of the academy graduating along with the clan heirs or the Aburame, Akimichi, Hyuga, Inzuaka, Nara, Yamanaka, and the sole survivor of the Uchiha massacre.

Sakura Haruno, a shinobi of the hidden leaf has no idea of his family history. The only thing he cares about is having a few friends and being able to protect them. His laziness rivals the Naras but once he's motivated no one can stop him.
