My heart started beating faster as he came closer to me. He placed the chair in front of me and sat staring at my face. "You're not Russian. Are you American?" He stated and asked.
I shrugged, "You can say that"
He chuckled without moving his face so I knew he didn't find it amusing.
"What is your name?" He said getting closer to my face.
I couldn't look away and I couldn't lie. "Gabrielle," I said softly.
He looked pleased hearing my name, "hmm Gabrielle" he said pronouncing my name like perfection, rolling the r. I think I might change my name from Gabrielle to the way he pronounced it.
"Who. are. you?" He said dangerously slow and low.
" I just said I'm Gabrielle" I stated, I probably shouldn't have done that.
He moved so fast, one second he was in the chair, the next thing I knew, his hands were wrapped around my throat tightly. I gasped in surprise at his sudden action. Might I add, him choking me did not scare or hurt me at all, in fact, it did the opposite.
