"What to do when you realize that you have lost out in advance? Because if this is the case, if things do not change, the world may well be damaged beyond the irreversible." - Extract 2060 "...if you think you have an idea of what the scope of human imagination is, an idea of progress no matter how good or bad it is, an idea of the world I've lived in since I was born, you are way off the mark." - Extract 2060 Started in 2020 ◇ PAUSE: still writing but not enough to post regularly ◇

Oblivion

Vitium Cavum. Or, the better known 'Hollow Disease'. Five years ago, in an alternate universe, scientists were on the verge of creating the immortality drug. Only, somehow, it escaped in the early stages of development, when everyone was working to rid of all the negative side effects. Those 'side effects' practically rip a person's soul away from them. Hence the name 'Hollow' Disease, because this virus makes whoever is affected an empty shell with no soul. Now, only a handful of people around the world are currently unaffected by this disease. Some of them had their families torn apart, some lost their friends, and some lost the person they were in love with. And that's where our story begins; in the year 2019, five years after Hollow Disease nearly destroyed the entire world. [Warnings: death, blood, violence, attempted suicide, suicidal thoughts, mentions of stillbirth, and other mature themes]
