Atticus Simons is your average dork. At least that's what he thinks. He has good enough grades, a decent friend, and great prospects for the future. People think he has everything he's ever wanted. Most of them hate him for it.
Little does anyone know, he's willing to trade all of that just to get back the one thing that means everything to him: a family. But when he seizes that opportunity, he's thrust into a world he isn't prepared for. A world of anthropomorphic creatures known as Furfolk, animals that walk on their hind legs and talk just like humans.
