Der Halbelbe Elrond fasst sich ein Herz und nimmt die junge Elfe mit nach Bruchtal, wo sie sich auskurieren soll. Es dauert nicht lange, bis sie sich Hals über Kopf in den schönen Mann verliebt. Dieser folgt strengen Prinzipien und Geboten, was besonders die körperliche Nähe zwischen den beiden erschwert. Doch auch Elrond hegt  Interesse an der Fremden . So lernt die junge Elfe aus Himmelsrand nicht nur ihn und die Kultur der Elben, sondern bald auch viele andere Charaktere aus den Zeiten des Ringkrieges kennen...
