No past. No answers. Just the cold truth that she's trapped with a group of boys who have no idea why they're there, either. For a year and a half, the gladers carried out the same routine; work, explore the maze, welcome a greenie every month, and hope to escape. And, while their routine wasn't enjoyable or easy, it was predictable. But things drastically change when their next greenie is a girl.
