The choosing of the eldest son must occur in three months, by the last Friday in August.

The eldest son of Odene is 27, the age of choosing his bride. Reluctant to make a decision, an arranged marriage is threatened over his head while his heart and mind are taken by someone else. A decision must be made, and hearts must be broken.
His brothers face their own stories of love, late night rendezvous, and watching from the windows. With a puppet master behind the scenes, the prince's have a scarce idea of what is to come. The masquerade is just the beginning.
