For every person out there that was quiet, not because they chose to be so, but because they were choking in the smoke. Because their opinions were apparently not worth anything. Because they didn't know just how to say what they felt. For every person that is consumed by their own thoughts, the derision from the outside world only making it worse. For every soul that was drowning in remorse and anguish on restless nights. For every soul that says I love you in the dark and in the mirror because no one else does. For the floors we would pace while anxiety sunk its teeth into us. For the mirrors that we would break while shame echoed its laugh in our caged walls. "Let me go!" I screeched as he dragged me out of the house. And quickly removed his hand from my hair to my arm. "Mom! Dad!" I screamed right before they shut the front door so they couldn't see me. I looked over and saw my sister on the ground crying and my brother being held back by two of the men in black. Tears streaming down his face. Derek stopped moving in defeat knowing that he wasn't going to get past all of the men in black. The men let him go and he sat on the ground next to my sister. Somehow I slipped out of the mans grip. I cried right before I was ripped out of their arms and thrown into the back of a van. I heard my brother and sister yelling after the van started moving. "Goodbye." I cried silently.
