Three years after fantasy creatures, good and bad, stormed the world, humans that have magical bloodlines have started to develop into what their ancestors once were, but the humans that didn't develop any powers hunt these magical creatures down and kill them or imprison them. Many of these creatures are powerful ancient beings, and many of the humans that have developed these powers are now endangered.
When four sisters are on a little shopping trip in the bigger town adjacent to their home, everything goes wrong, and they soon find out that they aren't ordinary. An ancient tale among covens is that there will be a band of children born, with all of their birthdates relating to the number nine, meaning these sisters are now some of the most powerful gifted known to the human and fantasy realm.
