His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life.
