Inspired by Heat Waves, this story is not a copy but instead my own take with my own characters. A faceless myct learns that his feelings for his friend may be far more than platonic.

He has bright, blonde hair that shines gold in the right lighting. His eyes reflect emeralds, ironically. He's actually really tall, around 6'7 I think... I'm not sure. He's slender but has more muscle than you would think. He's perfect.

Instead of talking, he starts writing to the person he wants to become friends with. George who struggles with ADHD and a mood disorder suddenly receives notes in his locker each day from an unknown person. The notes cheer him up each time and at the same time he starts becoming closer to the quiet and shy Clay. When George also becomes friends with Clay's brother, he has to choose between either him, who hates Clay, or choose for the sweet Clay. But does he fall for the manipulative behaviour of Clay's brother or does he stay loyal to Clay? The fanfiction that almost everyone in their fandom has read, the fiction of what never happened. They make jokes about it. All the time. Because, in honesty; Dream gets scared at how accurate the story was. Some of those conversations actually happened. Or something close to it. Conversations in the dark, snapchats of his hands, the nightmares. Or It's been a little less than three years since the hit fanfiction called Heatwaves has been published. It's June of 2023 and Dream is finally reading it. His feelings for George have never left, not in 4 years. When Dream decides to read this story he realizes there are so many similarities.
