Amaya Aster, halfblood, finally receives her letter to Hogwarts. Her father prepares her and her younger sister for the next chapter of their lives, while their mother remains skeptical and distant. Once she arrives at the school, relief hits her as she realizes she won't have to walk on eggshells anymore. No more arguing, no longer worrying about poverty, she's made friends and family. Hogwarts is much different from her life at home, with her closest friends, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dean, Seamus, Ginny, Dixie, Neville, Luna, and the twins; she's never felt like she belonged anywhere more.
As years pass, she realizes friendship isn't the only relationship that will spark. Amaya is drawn to a certain pyromaniac and can't seem to shake those feelings.
But this new introduction to the world of magic she's grown so fond of doesn't just bring Every Flavor Beans and floating candles. A dark wizard we all know too well is at large, and will not stop until every person who dares defend Harry Potter is out of his way.

He gave her an invitation to study at Hogwarts. She thought he was crazy, after all Hogwarts was a made up place a place that only existed in books that she read and the movies she watched. JK Rowling was her favorite author. She brought her books to life and made them feel real. She'd read and reread all seven books watched all 8 movies religiously. She knew every character and every line of the book. Felt as if she knew Harry, Ron, Hermione, and all the characters in the books personally. After much persuasion from her parents and the funny looking man she agrees. She's brought into a world that she thought was make believe. All characters except Grace are JK Rowling's.
