I have always been fascinated by the clash of cultures which occurred after the end of the second world war. The UK was almost bankrupt, eclipsed by the US's aggressive commercial, industrial, and political might as they cherry picked British assets to pay for its war debts. The British Establishment in disarray and confusion, threatened by the change of mood in the country a new non-Conservative Government.
I have tried to bring together brings together all these elements in, what I hope, is an entertaining short story. I WOULD VALUE READERS CONTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK !
