So, I found this text post on tumblr talking about an AU where every time a person falls in love, a red tally-like mark appears on their wrist.

But then there were added situations to this AU, like when a black mark would appear on your wrist, symbolising an unrequited love; like a normal, red tally-mark turning into a scar when the one they love dies.

I couldn't let this AU go without more depth, so I decided that even if it is a fanfic, it doesn't have to be limited to this one, certain celebrity. Imagine who you like, skip past the celebrity's name, just remember: this is a story about love, tragedy and heartbreak, not falling in love with a celebrity in an AU.
