At seventeen, Clover Queen enjoys the end of her summer working at a quaint café with her best friends, listening to music and trying to ignore the nuisances that are her older twin brothers.
That changes when a boy in a coat and a girl with hair as fiery as the powers she possesses barge into her life to save her from an evil out for her blood and take her to an academy in the middle of nowhere for other teenagers with abilities she didn't know she had.
Before she can adjust she's sent off on a quest, or Legend, to save the world with the students that saved her, or the world will end in flames. No pressure, right? But hey, what can a girl who literally glows in the dark expect?
