Beyond Her Abstraction

He was never a fan of an abstract art. He finds it too difficult and complicated. He prefers arts which are aesthetic and explicit. Iyong mga likhang sa unang tingin pa lang ay mabubusog na ang iyong mata at mamahalin mo na. But not all arts are like that. Some are difficult. Some are complicated. Some are dark and intimidating. Some are not aesthetic at all. Some are implicit. Some are abstract.

Phthalo Cipasco, a member of private organization of portrait artists, never liked abstracts but he never hated it too. Not until when he met Alizarin Ladi, a living abstract, who happened to join the organization's portrait exhibit out of the blue. She frustrates him. She confuses him. She cannot be figured out. And she... she makes him curious like no art has ever done to him.
