I'm back with a new book. This time I'm going to show you the many amazing, frightening and sometimes downright strange species that were lost to time.

There are so many creatures that once roamed planet Earth, our own little oasis in the vast expanse of the desert we call the cosmos. But what were these creatures like? What would their everyday lives have been like?

Well I'm here to answer those questions. In every episode we'll take a look at a day in the life of one of these creatures. Whether it be the apex predator of its environment or a small creature at the bottom of the food chain, there's never a dull moment in the lives of these amazing creatures.

Note: As time passes, there's a strong possibility that my book will becomes less accurate as we discover more and more about Earth's past. But for now my book will provide the currently most accurate information we have. Also some of the creatures that are depicted in the episodes may not have been discovered in the exact location that this story takes place in, but rather in the areas around it.

This is the first volume of a series I'm making, every book/season will contain 12 episodes, after that I'll take a break before continuing this prehistoric saga.

After 250 million years, we ceased to be hunter gatherers. The Neolithic Revolution meant we could never go back. WHO THE HELL ARE WE? is a series of short books and videos describing the evolution of civilization. Almost everyone on the planet is five times wealthier than their ancestors only 50 years ago. This astonishing phenomenon has also improved health, education, and longevity. The cause; an explosive growth in ideas and productivity. It began when we learned to control fire, evolved articulate speech and stumbled onto the way to create infinite wealth; free trade. In a world, a long, long time ago, lived a crystal. The lands flourished and bloomed until the crystal cracked, the shard lost to time. There came two races with the crystal cracked, the Skeksis and the Mystics. With both races dying, only one could save them. His name was Keith, the last known living Gelfling. He was the chosen one. And he has no clue. NOTE: This takes place in the Dark Crystal universe but still has my own twists to it. I'm basing this story solely off the movie and my own imagination. A few tidbits of knowledge that would make this story make a lil more since are: -This one-shot is only based off the movie, not the comics nor the upcoming (as of 2019) show. -All of the species named here (Gelfling, Skeksis, Mystics, Podlings) are all more humanoid than what is canon in the Dark Crystal movie but you can still image them as you wish. -The Skeksis are the Galra. (The Mystics AREN'T the Alteans though.) Image the Skeksis as more Galra-like or more Skeksis-like, do what fits your imagination.
