at santa clause's icelandic headquarters, arnþrúður glyrandottir - ash, for short -
 is living her best life as santa's one of favourite and most devoted elves. ash is loved by her peers, excited for every upcoming christmas and loves to do every single one of her chores. 

she is practically glowing. trust me, she really is the happiest an elf can ever be. 

but elf proposes, santa disposes. 

ash never, in her half a millenia year old life, could have imagined the surprises and struggles of 2020. between us, her little elf heart can't even fathom what comes next in december.
