Thunder came to Jade Mountain Academy looking for a safe haven. And it's just that, for a little while. She makes friends, she learns about other dragons, and she finds a place where she can finally enjoy herself.
But not for long.
Her devastating secret quickly catches up to her, and she ends up leaving the academy, chased by an unknown foe who seems determined to catch her. Whether dead or alive, she doesn't know.
Eventually she finds herself wing-deep in a catastrophic plot that could destroy everything she loves. When her friends have her back and she's ready to fight, it seems like everything could work out. But there's only one problem:
The danger is herself.

The Random Moments of JMA
This is the beginning of the story of a friend group of dragons attending a much more developed and populated version of Jade Mountain Academy. Starting in the Quartz Winglet in the year 5058 A.S., these students live average lives and as the series goes on, things develop and change, mentally and physically for them. I would consider this a Wings of Fire fanfiction, although it's a bit complicated as it's based off of real life. The dragons in this are all my classmates as their Wings of Fire OCs, (meaning some of the OCs aren't mine) or, if they don't know wings of fire and/or don't have an OC, just them as a WoF dragon. Since it's based off of real life, it doesn't have much of a plot, so be prepared for that. This is the first book in the Random Moments of JMA series, and things change as the series goes.Complete

When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined...
