A long, long time ago, a time when the ways of magic had still been deeply connected to the human heart, a brave man faced against a power hungry individual, wanting to force his reign upon the world. Light had shone brightly as the Light came to be the victor, while the Dark was sealed deep below the face of earth.
Centuries have passed since then and the story is now nothing more but a good night story. But... the great evil that had been sealed away, is about to make it's return, lashing it's claws into the peace that had been treasured for so long to tear it apart and bring an era of fear once again.
However, as much as once the Light stood up against the Dark, so the story will repeat and a new Light, brighter than ever before will arise. Though can it reach it's potential in time? Or will the inferno of hope be extinguished as nothing but a mere candle?

Prologue: The Prophecy In ancient times, it was said that a great power would arise, a power that would bring magic back to the forefront of the worlds. It was said that this power would be born of lightning and fire and that it would be wielded by a mage of great strength and courage. The world would face great upheaval and danger, but magic would be the key to survival. There will come those who will unite the kingdoms and empires, and they will bring an end to the darkness that has long shadowed the land. It was said that these mages would be the saviour of the worlds and that they would bring hope and light to all. But for many years, the prophecy remained unfulfilled. The people slowly forgot and those that remembered lost hope, the kingdoms and empires fell and changed and with it brought chaos. But then, one day, a young girl was born in a small village far from the capital. She was born under the sign of lightning, and she had the power of magic within her. And so, the prophecy began. The first of them had arisen, and the journey to bring magic back had begun.

Centuries ago an oath was created between a coven of magicals and a pack of werewolves. This oath created connections that would allow better protection between them. This is Arabella and Garrett's story. Arabella is returning to her small town after three years, not much has changed except for her. Three years ago her brother left the light magic behind and went to the dark, making an agreement to eliminate the threat of Arabella. After his attempt her mother took her and fled to Paris, leaving behind her father and Garrett, her best friend and oath bound protector. It's been three years since that fateful night, three years of silence from Garrett and she is forced to return after a horrific event. Now she must return to her small town in Alabama and her former life. Garrett has never forgiven himself for how he treated Arabella before she left. He had no words to make up for his behavior so he's been silent since her departure but now she's returning and he has to find the words. However, the minute he sees her he knows he'd give up everything to fix it, to protect her. Getting her forgiveness might be another story though.
