A proper and well-brought-up Southern girl, and a close relative of Robert E. Lee. Born in 1842 on a Virginia plantation, Kaitlyn was kept unawares of the real reason her brothers were sent off to fight. Mercer Lewis. An avid supporter of the Southern cause and owner of a small shop. Born in 1840 in Charleston, South Carolina, Mercer's wake up call came when the war started, in his very own hometown. Lia Mavis. A Northern girl who supports the Northern cause heavily but can't do much. Born in 1842 in New York City, Lia watches several causes for the South's secession emerge and fights against them with what she can.
