Whilst walking home from work one evening you're caught in the midst of a commotion tucked into an alleyway in the red light district of Kamurocho. There's a tall man beating the shit out of another man. And when both heads turn to you, you plead in fear that you won't tell anyone.

And the man proposes an oath of secrecy. If you become his secretary for 1 week then he won't do anything to you.

The man is none other than 42 year old Goro Majima of the Majima family and chairman of Majima Construction. The company that's responsible for building one of the tallest buildings in the flat Kamurocho city. The same building you're used to marvelling at.

A man of parallels, Majima hides his true feelings very close to his chest and puts a facade of seemingly unpredictable violence to the world. And it's not long before you break through it unknowingly.
