"Oh mother, will you ever stop? I don't need a man to take care of me." I looked at her through the mirror. She was looking me over, judging me. 

"Have you been doing your face excersize? That chin is hanging a bit low today. No more salt." She tugged on one of my curls. I rolled my eyes at her. she never let me just breath without correcting me.

"I'm leaving tomorrow. Can you not criticize me everytime you look in my direction? It's our last night, ma." I got up walking around my now bare room. It gave me a sense of hope to see everything gone, that I can be my own person once I get to Colorado. Nothing and no one will be there to stop me, especially mother.All Rights Reserved

Anyway, there's this very romantic scene by the end of the movie when Jerry made this very heartfelt and passionate declaration to his wife. Those words would melt you into a puddle and make you burst into tears thinking, "I want to have that kind of love!" Well that very sweet scene did not happen on this story, not all of it anyway.
