Letter to a Narcissist

Dear Psycho No Longer In My Life,
I hate you. I just want to say how much I really, really, really hate you.
I went decades on this planet without ever really knowing what hate was. I was completely unaware that I had, what ultimately could be considered, an optimistic view of life. I had faith in people. Without knowing it, I believed in people.

You ended all of that. You killed all of that.
Or perhaps I'm just warped now? I struggle to even think of you as human for what you're capable of.
If we're defined in our humanity by our compassion and empathy for others, our ability to connect with each other, then shouldn't your complete lack of those qualities de-classify you as a person? At least, as a member of the human race. What sub-species does that make you then? Or are you just an animal, untouched by the "enlightenment of man".
No, that's too belittling to animals.
