The Girl and the Harlot [Oldrivalshipping]

Growing up as childhood friends and next-door neighbors, Blue and Leaf begin their biggest journey yet: to become champion of the Pokémon region. With the help from Blue's grandfather both are given a Pokémon to begin their journey. But why has Blue suddenly turned sour towards his once best friend, and has began acting like a hot-headed Harlot? And what evil lurks in the midst of team Rocket's plans?

This story is inspired by the Pokespe (Pokémon adventures) manga, my own playthrough of Pokémon Leafgreen, where an inside joke had me name the rival Harlot.

Sorry if you're used to referring to the rival as Green, I live in the states and always think of his name as Blue, which means Leaf's alternative name is Green. I didn't want to cause confusion while writing this.
