When raised in a burning house, it seems as though the whole world is on fire. For Nari, the house is molten lava and the whole world is ablaze.
Noble children in the Fire Nation were always raised with a tight leash and a quick whip. A home of fire is only warm with a family that has a heart, for Nari, she finds that burning home of hers barren cold. After a fast-footed flee, a twisted and unwelcome fate throws Nari all the curveballs it can, including running into old friends and new enemies. When all struggles tie together and all roads lead back to a divided mind, Nari will have to decide what she values more: a future prematurely painted, or one that has yet to be decided.

Heimat: a place that you can call home; a sense of belongingness, acceptance, safety and connection to homeland A decade has passed after the final battle between the Avatar and the Fire Nation, a decade after the defeat of their Fire Lord. It is a time of prosperity for most, but the crimes commited during the war couldn't be reversed. Benders were taken away from their families, people were slaughtered, their belongings, homes and land taken away. This, had been the instance when it came to the northwest part of the Earth Kingdom, that had went on to become the Fire Nation colonies. The people of the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom lived on in the land that was given to them and gradually, they became one. They collaborated and cooperated in order to live and so they got richer, learnt to depend on each other for their survival. By the end of the war, the people, even though they came from different backgrounds, were one. A decade after the end of the war, the Avatar is commanded to solve the matter of whether the former Fire Nation citizens need to move or not. Aang believes the nations need to be separated. The people in the colonies do not, hatred starts to grow in their hearts. The Avarar will need the help of a companion more than any other time, and there is no better person to aid him than the secret waterbender that's part of the Fire Nation fleet, the woman who risked her own life to get him to safety, even though this had been the first time they had met in their lives. She never knew how she managed to survive all these years, hiding from the Fire Nation but she still remained a nineteen-year-old girl. Fire Lord Ozai discovered her Air Nomad origins and he imprisoned her for three years. She got to meet the royal family before it was broken. When she managed to escape she ran away to the Water Tribes. She had been there ever since, protecting the defenseless people from the ruthless Fire benders as well as her bending. A new Air Bender appears, and it didn't take long when a Fire Navy ship arrived the deserted icy lands of the South.
