When Lucille Walters moves from her hometown to a small city two towns over, she decides to change a few things.

Before stepping foot into high school, she decides to hood herself. She decides to keep to herself. She decides to never bother with typical cliques. She decides to be a NOBODY. AND, she decides to keep it that way.

Becoming a nobody by choice... It was never heard of. Yet, having dealt with things far too traumatic to be normal and real in life, it makes it easier for her to stay under radar. Even if she wanted otherwise.

That changes though, when, for one split moment, she puts herself aside and clashes swords with the most powerful and most dreaded clique of all -The Populars.

All for a new nerd in school. At the moment, it becomes all about winning the challenge and showing them who's boss. However, when she realizes what a big mistake she's made, would she back down? Would she give up on showing the popular kids that cliques can change and social ladders aren't so difficult to climb?

And what if she stumbles across a dangerous stop along the way of success, called love?

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance
The Perks Of Being Amanda Summerlyn by istalkbtr1010
23 parts Complete
Amanda has always had a huge, and I mean HUGE crush on Oliver Lockwood. She loves everything about him; from his disheveled raven hair that always makes it look like he just woke up when he takes off his hats to his reading glasses that make his brown eyes pop; from his so-sexy-it-should-be-illegal Southern accent and crooked smile to his too-adorable dimples. Not to mention his high IQ, amazing skateboard skills, and his incredible talent at drawing heroes from Marvel. Amanda would do anything to be his girlfriend. But there’s only one problem; Oliver is a nerd and Amanda is a member of the Clique, the group of the most popular girls in school, and to the Clique and the whole high school population, a Clique dating a nerd is off-limits. And even if she wasn’t popular, Amanda would be too shy to talk to the guy since she is incredible shy. But when she overhears that Oliver is going to one of Ricky Sanders’ –her so-called boyfriend- legendary parties, Amanda is determined to push all of this popular-crap behind her and talk to him. And she does, only it’s to explain how she stepped on his foot and scuffed his sneaker. Soon after, Amanda starts spending time with Oliver everywhere; at movie cinemas, Chinese food restaurants, and his house...for sleepovers with his friends that is. He even teaches her how to skateboard and the beauty of Zombie videogames and Marvel comic books. Faster than she even planned, Amanda finds herself falling head over heels for Oliver even more. But as more trouble starts brewing, Amanda finds herself in a very scary and complicated situation that risks her losing her reputation, her friends, and, worst of all, Oliver forever.

17 parts Complete

Chloe Jefferson: rich, popular and fashionable. Her life seems perfect. Why wouldn't it be? She had the most popular friends in school, all the students cower before her and she's got the highest position on the school social ladder. But even someone as perfect as Chloe has a secret, one that she'd try to keep hidden at all costs. Felicity Bloom was labeled a nerd from day one at Evermore High for sticking her nose in books instead of socializing with her peers. She ignores the taunting that came with being made an outcast, seeking solace within the pages of her favorite novels. No one had ever thought that strange, quiet Felicity had once been so vastly different. When fate forces both teens to unravel their secret pasts to each other, they learn that they're more alike than they realize. And with that mutual understanding between them, an unlikely friendship is born. P.S. This is not a lesbian story so I'm sorry if the description gave that impression.
