Fear
All I've ever known is fear, and a strange dream...a reoccurring nightmare, where someone is hunting me, chasing me, never gaining or receding, in a strange place where everything is bathed in an orange hue. I live in a grey world where everyone is the same....if anyone finds out I'm not 'normal', it will mean a trip to the 'mind doctor, who I fear more than the nightmares. I could lose what little independence I have...it's all I own, all I am. Until one day, the dream finds me... I wake from the latest nightmare, and find a note warning of danger, and that 'they' are coming. When I wake and hear someone speaking - that I can't see, but can feel...who tells me that I am not who I think I am....I have nowhere to run... Should I listen? Wait? Meeting her friends on Saturday is also normal, but the thing that isn't normal is the things that happened. Her friends vanished just right in front of her eyes, not only them but everything was gone. Now Alex have to face a whole new world on her own to find a way to get out of this world. The Long Walk Home
IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. I blow out air and fall over. * * * * 13 year old Colten, takes a shortcut through the field next to his house on his way home. But why can't he reach his destination?Concluida
MISSING
A dream I had that forced its way out of my head and onto Wattpad. A story that wants to be told. The night of July 23rd going into the morning of July 24th 2015 I had a dream as I slept, a dream that played like a movie. When I woke, I felt I just had to write it. It wanted to come out. I wrote over 2,700 words then and there before doing anything else. A week later and a story became complete at a little over 7,700 words. This, for a long time, was something I really wanted to return to. There was and is so much more that I thought could be done with this tale, so as January 2022 comes to a close, a return does come to that world. Those 7,7000 words have become 8,600 words of an opening story in this ... world. The time had come to explore this world a little further ... a second tale, complementing the first, written between January 31st - February 2nd 2022 now takes the total word count to just under 12,800 words.
