The Long Walk Home
IT lets go of me, my head hits the ground again, no sound echos this time. IT's mouth movies, but my ears ring, so I can't hear IT. Everything is blurry and movies too much. I can't focus on anything. IT looks at me, IT's eyes are all gray. IT smirks and stands all of the way up, towering over me. I pull myself up and wobble away from IT on unsteady feet. I look back to see IT laughing, watching me walk away. I can't hear her terrible laughter, and I don't want... to... I fall over, feeling woozy. My head spins and I sway as I try to stand. I look back again, to see that the fog has covered my path, and I can only see a couple of inches away from my face. I blow out air and fall over. * * * * 13 year old Colten, takes a shortcut through the field next to his house on his way home. But why can't he reach his destination?Complete
Ribbit and Reality
Waking up on the edge of a cliff in an unknown world wasn't part of the plan. Neither was having absolutely no memory of how I got here. But here I am-confused, probably high, and screaming into the void. With no clue what to do next, I do what any sane person would: throw a tantrum, curse at the sky, and accidentally "befriend" a weird, tiny creature that may or may not be magical. Now, lost in a strange world with only my questionable survival instincts and a feathery menace at my side, I have one goal-figure out what the hell is going on. Two separate entities, both fine, on their own, but better together. -Doobydobap I know I'm not human, but apart from that my life seems mundane. Get the reaping done. And now it feels like I'm alone in everything I do, even as a twin. And all the while, people are still changing. One of them is desperately sick but doesn't know it. MISSING
A dream I had that forced its way out of my head and onto Wattpad. A story that wants to be told. The night of July 23rd going into the morning of July 24th 2015 I had a dream as I slept, a dream that played like a movie. When I woke, I felt I just had to write it. It wanted to come out. I wrote over 2,700 words then and there before doing anything else. A week later and a story became complete at a little over 7,700 words. This, for a long time, was something I really wanted to return to. There was and is so much more that I thought could be done with this tale, so as January 2022 comes to a close, a return does come to that world. Those 7,7000 words have become 8,600 words of an opening story in this ... world. The time had come to explore this world a little further ... a second tale, complementing the first, written between January 31st - February 2nd 2022 now takes the total word count to just under 12,800 words.
