"No! Please, don't do this. We can just pretend we aren't soul tied. Just don't break the tie. Please," I sobbed.
"I don't need anyone and I especially don't need a soul tie," Xavier claimed coldly.
"Are you sure your maje-," the doctor couldn't even finish before Xavier interrupted.
"I, Xavier Taroah, break the soul tie with Alaris Greenwood."
Nothing but immense pain, that felt like my heart was being ripped out, filled within me. "Why? Why, would you do this," I said as I dropped to the ground.
I could've sworn I saw a hint of guilt and sadness behind his cold eyes, as I passed out.

When Titan sees his movement he pulls me away from my dad and growls again "Mine!" He says desperately trying to keep me close to him. "He's my dad, Titan... he won't hurt me." I try to soothe the beast. I don't really want to let him go but I know if this goes on much longer Titan will get hurt. "Mine!" He growls softly, nuzzling his nose into my neck. "Yours." I whisper pulling away so I can hold his face. "But I need to go to my dad right now... please Titan." I beg him. He looks over to my dad who is still holding out his hand expectantly then looks back to me. With a nod he let's me go and I take my dad's hand. "Take him!" Dad commands as he pulls me away. "Was there something you wanted to say?" I nodded my head as he tore the tape from my mouth. I had to bite my tongue to stop from hissing in pain, readjusting my jaw as it felt stiff. When I looked up - he was staring at me, his eyes shifting down from my eyes just a few times. His face was close to mine, nose touching nose. "Cas" my voice had cracked, tears making their way back as we leaned in, my lips touch his. They were soft and so... Soft. I could feel sparks of electricity running through me as my lips stung. We pulled away, our eyes stuck on each others. I thought he was going to spare me but when I saw him lift his hand with the sword in it, I knew he wouldn't. The last words I heard him speak was "I'm sorry" before he sliced my throat, darkness closing in. "Shh"he said and covered my mouth. I bit his hand and he removed his hand from my mouth. "Ah, what was that for?" he yelled, his eyes getting darker as he pouted and rubbed his hand. "I don't know what you're up to but you're so being dumped"I told him. He was acting crazy and it was driving me insane because he wasn't telling me anything. He growled and ran towards him with his hands out wide to try and grab me, but I turned and kicked him in the leg as he fell to the ground.
