Adam lives a luxurious life in New York with his husband and their two twin daugthers. He's the boss of a huge fashion company. He's known for being mean and strict. Everyone's afraid of him and no one dares to say against him.

When a young boy starts working for him, Adam turns his life into a living hell. But he's also starting to get feelings for him. He knows their love is forbidden. When Javi is about to leave a book at his house, he sees Adam being beaten by his husband. He leaves the book and leaves the house quickly.

The next day, Adam asks him to come into his office. Javi asks him if he'll be fired. To his surprise, Adam kisses him. He explains to him that he's in a divorce with his abusive husband. The reason he was mean and stern was to hide his pain. Javi understand him. Adam tells him that he's in love with him. They get together and he feels happy for the first time.
