“ But what IS Pollicitus Terra?” Enlai asked. 

The man’s ears twitched, a purr erupted from his throat, as a sly smile curled on his lips, “A wonderland of death, and roads. One road may lead you to a palace of gold, and the other can lead you to town of despair.” 

“Doesn’t sound like a happy place.” 

“What is happiness? To a mother it’s hearing her child’s laugh, but to a murderer it’s watching the life run dry from that child’s eyes. This place is neither happy nor sad. Only madnesses. We are all mad here.” 

Enlai finds himself trapped in a new mysterious land where time has stood still. Steam powered machines help better the lives of those in the Royal City, while the Queen’s Knights protect the land. Beyond the Tulgey Woods is the Forgotten City where The Crusaders, led by Gregory Simmons, threatens all life, and the Queens reign. The only hope to return peace is to find the source of Alice. In order to get home, Enlai must help find Alice, and discover the reason Gregory Simmons wants him dead
